My projected opening lines before the official opening lines are released
tonite. On tuesday evening each college football season , I come back and
evaluate my projected lines vs. the opening lines (or combined average with
first lines sunday evening) in my EarlyBirds write ups, and see if there are
any discernible discreprencies on these lines vs. the opening/first lines .
I will be releasing some numbers I've worked with called Results Vs. Pointspreads
(RVP0 on Tuesday, helps me to weed out the Jekyll & Hyde's from teams that
I have a good read on. Perennially, I tend to stay away from Arizona State and
Michigan State as the exact opposite happens no matter how hard I view both
sides. It's not some "trend" I adhere too (not a trendy guy), slight superstition
perhaps. I also can't get feels for SEC major tilts , especially ones where
pointspreads are small.
